<p>Silverwood Lake is a California State Park, entry fees apply, although you can get a free entry pass from some public libraries. No launch fees, and you can launch from any beach, the dock, or the concrete boat ramp. Silverwood is always windy, slightly better in the early morning, not recommended for beginners. There can also be a lot of motorboat activity on the lake. I love to visit the beach, swim, picnic, have even hosted a birthday party here, but I don't have enough paddleboarding experience to launch here.</p>

<p>You need to get day access pass to campground to get access to the ramp. Better is park before the campground gate and if you hace kayak , you can carry it to water and launch it for free</p>
